*FACTS FROM THE ROAD
14.06.2004 - Status Quo played a private concert in the Netherlands at the wedding of dutch Quo fan Richard Molenaar and his wife Lucienne. About 250 guests attended at the Thalia Theatre in Ijmuiden, a small harbour place near Amsterdam. Quo was in the middle of their German tour and did this gig in between two german shows. They played a shorter set of 80' minutes.
04.07.2004 - The famous Montreux Jazz Festival was home to Quo on July 4th. Again billed with Cheap Trick and Deep Purple, Quo appeared on stage at 10.15 to a sell-out crowd. The full set was later broadcasted on swiss & european TV.
13.07.2004 - Quo's first gig in Italy since 1981, Quo played on the shores of Lake Como at yet another of the Monsters of Rock festivals. They kicked off with "Caroline" and, with Francis' mike out of action, vocals were performed by Rick and Francis singing into the same mike!
10.09.2004 - Quo were one of a number of major artists to play a special show to mark the opening of the recently-renovated Zürich airport in Switzerland. This unique gig was performed inside an aircraft hangar to a crowd of over 10000. The Quo set was around 70 minutes, with no change to the recent setlist but without the 'Heavy Traffic' songs and no "Big Fat Mama".
