*FACTS FROM THE ROAD:

12.10.2008 - The band played at Halifax's Victoria Theatre on October 12th, turning out to be their last gig on the first leg of the UK 'Pictures' tour as the remainder of the October gigs were cancelled due to Matt falling victim to a respiratory tract infection. All dates were rescheduled between January 26th to February 18th, 2009.

28.11.2008 - Status Quo played as the official show acts of the german BUNDESPRESSEBALL, which is an annual event with lots of politicians, representatives from sports, economy and media.

05.06.2009 - Quo played at a surprise private birthday party for business David Blunt in the south Yorkshire. The band were booked as the birthday surprise for millionaire Keepmoat PLC chief executive David Blunt - and performed in the back garden of his son's South Yorkshire home. The unforgettable gig was played out in a marquee in front of 250 party revellers at the Wath home of his son Phil after 15 roadies spent a day setting up.

28.06.2009 - marking something of a landmark for Quo, they played at the world famous Glastonbury Festival on June 28th. Their appearance was heavily covered by the media before the show (including an appearance on Gabby Logan's "Five Live" show and an interview with Sky News, both shortly before they went on stage) and received great reviews following their stunning hour-long show. Taking the large Pyramid Stage at midday, Quo looked out across the largest crowd for an opening act in the history of the festival.

16.07.2009 - Quo played at the 43rd Montreux Jazz festival on July 16th, followed by John Fogerty (the rumoured joint rendition of "Rockin' All Over The World" failed.)
