A typical set list included a mixture of rock'n' roll material, several original tracks from their unreleased album "Flexible Friends" from 1992 and of course some Quo covers, interspersed with Jackie Lynton's humorous banter.
Tour Note: At the famous London Marquee Club on June 9th 1985, Rick Parfitt and Alan Lancaster played a couple of tracks in Quo style (Caroline, Roadhouse Blues, A Mess Of Blues and Bye Bye Johnny) with the Diesel Band on stage. On April 4th 1985 Rick and Lemmy were at the Marquee Club London and bought on the encore for a blast through A Mess Of Blues.
One of their very fist Diesel gigs supporting Uriah Heep at Wembley Empire Pool, UK on 12.6.1976 were cancelled by short hand. The Pretty Things got the support slot [klick here for the Record Mirror ad from 5.6.1976]

*Due to family circumstances Baz has had to pull out of all JCQ gigs in July 2016. He has asked his friend Rick Abbs to stand in for him to enable the band to honour its commitments. Rick Abbs currently fronts the excellent Leicestershire Quo tribute band 'State the Quo' . Rick's first appearance was on Saturday 30th July 2016 at The Half Moon in Putney. On january 17th, 2019 John Coghlan announced on Facebook that Rick Abbs has left the band for personal reason. A new "frontman" will be announced in early march 2019.

Tour Notes: "The Coast to Coast" Australien tour 2019 with TMG and Taste has been cancelled in january 2019. John wrote on Facebook: "We are extremely disappointed to announce that the Australian tour has been cancelled, as it is not now viable due to circumstances beyond our control. We are so sorry to let down all those of you who have already booked tickets, and thank Ron, the promoter, for all his efforts to rectify this situation. ALL UK & European gigs WILL be going ahead." After an incredible career spanning 60 years, former Status Quo drummer John Coghlan has finally decided to hang up his drumsticks. John Coghlan's Quo will be playing a series of farewell dates 2022, giving the fans the opportunity to see John onstage for the last time! Support by Fiona Marie Channon*. Russ Chadd will not be appearing on both june dates and at the Abingdon gig. Aidan Johnson+ will be helping out on percussion for these shows.

John Coghlan's Quo had been in existence for 25 years in various forms, and their final gig with John Coghlan on the 24th of September 2022
was quite aptly played at Butlin's in Minehead where the QUO story first began. John is now concentrating with his new project with other musicians.
Mick Hughes, Rick Chase, Pete Mace and Russ Chadd have reformed under the name QUO CONNECTION in order to begin the next chapter carrying
the legacy of Status Quo and John Coghlan.
